Tanu Weds Manu

Hilarious , Romantic, and is successful in reminding you of "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam".
Although the movies are quite different but one cannot help but think if its similar or not.
Roles played by Madhvan, Kangan and others show us a glimpse of todays youth and how confusing it can be when searching for your life partner.

The movie works well on all levels and I would rate 4 out of 5 stars.

BOSS

To be Honest , this has been done already in Bollywood a number of times.
What I am saying is the script is not original , but the execution , direction is much better than we usually get expect in a comedy film. Part played by Akshay and Ronit are done very well while their junior co- stars failed to have much of am impact. All in all the movie is watchable once if it is coming on television not worth spending money to watch in a movie theater.

Jai-Veeru

Another under cover cop and a  thief story , Fardeen is the under cover cop looking for the don and stumbles into veeru's friendship. A number of similar stories are already out there. No need for a review to this story nothing special to tell , if you are on a death bed and have nothing on your to do list do use your time with this flick. 

Aaloo Chaat

The story is quite good ,direction could have been much better. 
The hero returns to his home after completing his studies from US.  The family are keen to have him married. But he loves someone else. 
The only problem is his hindu family, which  has very orthodox beliefs. And the girl he loves is a muslim. So he is in a sort of catch 22 situation as he cant marry anyone else and his parents wont let him marry Aamna(the girl he loves). 

Then his uncles gives him a brilliant  idea. And it would be taking away your joy if I tell you any further , so go and watch it if you wanna know how the boy gets the girl.

13 - B

It would not be wrong to say that it was a plot of a movie from the 80's with some modifications. This movie shows that ghosts have become advanced  and are talking to Madhvan through a television serial. All the things happening in the serial happens to their family. Still it is only madhvan who suspects that there is something strange about the house. With the help of his inspector friend he finds out  that at the same address as his there was a family massacre long time back. 

Finally the culprit is caught and every one is happy and the ghosts go away after having their revenge. 
My advice, do not waste your time for this movie. 

Gulaal

A good movie which paints a very colorful picture of modern day rajputs. Of all the characters depicted in this film  some are filled with false pride others are overly ambitious. Treachery and deceit seems to have  taken place of valor and patriotism in the modern rajput.

The movie starts with a gripping monologue by K.K.Menon, about how the government has cheated rajputs all these years by taking their lands and not giving them anything.And now it was time to take back what was rightfully theirs. 

The attention then shifts to the college where elections are to be held for Student council. And the stage is set for every one to sabtoge or even kill each other for the prestigious position of general secretary. 

The movie starts good showing lots of promises but becomes taste less around the interval. The movie again picks up half an hr before the end . 
The lyrics and even some shayari is good. Menon outshines every one. One should watch it at least once. 

Oye Lucky Lucky Oye

Hi folks , It s been a long time since I wrote so here goes for the last movie I saw.

Oye lucky Lucky oye , is about a very smart, young, talented thief.

The movie takes you to through the hardhips a young kid have to face when his father brings a step mom and kid always gets yelled at by his Dad.

The next thing we know the kid has grown and stealing mercedes and anything he can lay his hands on. The movie is a one time watch for all as everyone needs to protect ones house against all lucky's. And the movie is kind of funny as well as lucky feels very proud of what he has acco;plished and even cheats the police ,so go out and njoys the tricks of this thief.

Saas Bahu aur Sensex

A nice try bring about awakening to Indian masses, specially the female sex of the society.

The story revolves around a divroced woman(Kirron Kher) and her kitty party group. The movie shows us how the market trends keep changing due to various events and how an event can change the course of the day in the market. Kirron kher invests in the market and her kitty group  seeing her succcess do the same. So the gossip monger kitty group becomes a serious investor in the share markets. The movie journeys through the market with this group and finally giving every body a lesson to learn , that sometimes we tend to overlook a person as against the money.

So I think, all in all this movie has done its job by giving the exposure of how the share market works to the younger generation in a differernt way. Even if this movie did not make much impact on the box office the movie surely helps all the begginners in SenSex.

Welcome To SajjanPur

Finally a nice movie is out there in Bollywood. A movie that a lot of Indians can relate to as it is not about the metro culture, not just about a guy loving a gal as most of the Indians still donot live in metros where these things are so common. Shreyas has once again proved his metal in acting as he portrays an educated unemployed guy who tries to earn via writting letters of the uneducated folks of the village. But when he tries to mingle his feelings in letters he creates a chaos not only in his life but also in the life of others.

This movie also tries to bring up the evils of prevelant in vilages and small cities of Indian society.

The role of Munnibai was another asset of the movie as he(she) fights against the odds of society.

On the negative sides of the movie, the movie was on the slower side. All those who had gone to see Amrita would be dissappointed as she played an ok role which was un-glamourous.

The comic part was delivered very well by the story of Mangali girl and her mother who tries to marry her to a Dog(Kukkur the Dulha Raja).

So folks all those who haven't watched this movie should atleast watch this movie once.

This time lets begin with the +ive points of bollywood brought out by this movie:

1/ Our country got 2 good actors , the part done for the ghost was executed very nicely.

2/ The picturisation was very good.

3/ The message the movie left you with is quite catchy... One should hold on to God he never forgets his children evenif they do.

Now lets discuss the fun part :

1/ Why is horror always associated with darkness, and why all the ghosts plan their activities according to the moon, If I would have been the ghost I would have created hell all the time  .. ;)

2/ One funny thing why all the ghosts are found in big mansions why not choose a hut or even a flat eh ?... any answers ???

3/ I didnot not understand why the name of the movie was 1920 it could have been even better if they would have went along with 'baagi ka pyaar'  or 'main meri patni aur bhoot' what say?
